Trade Standards
Fair Trade exists not as a charity but as a practical campaign to change the way the world trades and ensure the producers at the bottom of the trade chain are paid a fair price for their work. It also prevents them being exploited and forced into unsustainable and dangerous work practices. The Fair Trade standards stipulate that traders must:

Fair Trade Products Its not just the church and market stall that sell Fair Trade. Many supermarkets; Asda, Sainsbury's, Tesco, the Co-op, sell a range of products and own label Fairtrade products. |
