Trade Standards
Fair Trade exists not as a charity but as a practical campaign to change the way the world trades and ensure the producers at the bottom of the trade chain are paid a fair price for their work. It also prevents them being exploited and forced into unsustainable and dangerous work practices. The Fair Trade standards stipulate that traders must:
